MADELEINE DAUER

Madeleine Dauer is originally from Seattle, Washington and will be graduating from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Acting, in just a few weeks!  She had the pleasure of finishing up her run as Dorinda in Marymount's mainstage production of the Beaux Stratagem, and recently recorded an original radio play, Flight 214 by Tyler Grimes for Distilled Theatre Company's DTC Radio series.  Other recent credits include Columbinus (Loner's Mother), and the NYR Student Film Saturday. Madeleine is very much looking forward to working with such a talented company of women for this Fallen Angel workshop!

CHERISH DUKE

(William Lord Hastings, First Messenger)

Cherish Monique Duke developed a love of acting in the DC area where she was born and raised. She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and studied classical acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London, England.  Her recent credits include: Taming of the Shrew (Pulse Theater Ensemble), Complications (Playroom Theater), and Henry VI (TWAS). In March she finished a three month four-play arc detailing the life of Ida. B. Wells and her fight for equality and justice. She is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA. www.cherishduke.com

Ruth trained at Arts Educational Drama School in London, and holds an MA in Contemporary Theatre Practice from the University of Essex and a BA in International Marketing, German & French from DCU, Dublin. She is a member of Fallen Angel Theatre Company. MILENA KENIN

(Boy, Pursuivant, Blunt Ratcliffe)

Milena Kenin's first theater love was Shakespeare, having attended dozens of "A Midsummer's Night's Dream" performances beginning at age 4. She's thrilled to finally make her own Shakespeare debut at age 10 in this reading with Fallen Angel. She has appeared in five plays at PS/MS 282 Brooklyn where she is a 5th grader and a member of the school chorus. She can be heard as the voice of Bea Spellsalot in the Lalaloopsy Movie: The Search for Pillow and in webisodes on the Lalaloopsy website, as well as in the Kid Chorus of PBS's Peg +Cat.

ROHANA KENIN

(Buckingham (Ghost of Buckingham), Ghost of Henry VI)

Rohana Kenin has previously worked with director Christopher Carter Sanderson for Gorilla Repertory Theatre: Maria, Twelfth Night; Queen,Cymbeline; Flute, A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream; Queen of Hearts,Alice in Wonderland. Other Shakespeare roles include both (though not in the same production) Hermia and Titania (Midsummer), Doll Tearsheet (Henry IV:2), Bianca (Othello), and Adriana (The Comedy of Errors). Rohana is passionate about working on new and experimental works and has appeared at LaMaMa, PS 122, Theater for the New City, the Ontological/Hysteric Theater, and frequently with Target Margin Theater, Andrea Klein Dance Performance and the Abingdon Theatre. Previously with Milena Kenin she has worked onClearing Her Room, Homework and Enforcing Piano Practice – she is excited to be given this opportunity by Fallen Angel to embark on a new and fruitful collaboration.

 

CHELSEA LESAGE

Chelsea LeSage (Ratcliffe, Third Citizen, Richmond) is thrilled to be working on her first project with Fallen Angel Theatre Company and to return to the TADA! Theatre after her one-woman mermaid musical The Mermaid Project at the EAT Festival in March. Recent credits include: Echo at the Take Ten Festival (finalist), Stage Door (Jean Maitland) at Marymount Manhattan College, Twelfth Night (Olivia) at Stag & Lion and Hamlet (title role) at Minerva Arts. MARY FRANK MADERA 

(Queen Margaret, Murderer Two, Messenger)

Mary Frank Madera currently resides in Naples, Florida and serves as Sr. Major Gifts Officer for Artis–Naples, home to the Naples Philharmonic and The Baker Museum with a wide-ranging multidisciplinary presenting program. Favorite roles from her time as a working Equity actor includeLyubov in Gorilla Rep’s The Cherry Orchard, the world premiere of Leah Ryan’s Raised by Lesbians at New Century, Ruth in A.R. Gurney’s Later Lifeat The Oldcastle and the Countess in All’s Well that Ends Well. While carrying her delightful daughter, Khaki, soon to be 13, she worked on almost every film and TV show shooting in NYC during the winter and spring of 2001. She is fortunate to have studied with the legendary Lee Strasberg, Hope Arthur and Louis Scheeder.

AEDIN MOLONEY

(Richard Duke of Gloucester then Richard III)

Aedín recently originated the role of George Eliot in the world premiere of A Most Dangerous Woman at Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, directed by tony winner Richard Maltby.  She is founder and producing artistic director of NY’s Fallen Angel Theatre Company. She recently starred in Airswimming (Irish Rep/Fallen Angel Theatre) & asRose in the acclaimed 20th Anniversary production of Dancing at Lughnasa (Irish Rep). Other NY & regional credits include: Hobsons Choice (Atlantic Theatre), Under Milk Wood (Hartford Stage dir. Mark Lamos), Shadow of a Gunman, Playboy of the Western World, Eclipsed, Juno & the Paycock, Same Old Moon & Pigtown (Irish Rep), Eva the Chaste, Talent & Cell (Fallen Angel Theatre).

 

She worked with Christopher & Gorilla Rep on Macbeth & Ubu is King.  She has worked at various prominent theatre’s in the UK including, Bristol Old Vic, Sheffield Crucible & Battersea Arts Center.  Film credits include: Nora with Ewan McGregor, Far & Away, The Captives & Agnes Brown. NICOLA MURPHY

(Richard Duke of York, Priest, Christopher Urswick)

Originally from Dublin, Nicola moved to New York to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since graduating, she has worked as Actor/Producer/Director, and Co-Founded Fundamental Theater Project in April 2010. She currently acts as the company's Co-Artistic Director. Acting credits include 3DHamlet- A Lost Generation ( Edinburgh Fringe), Arrah-na-Pogue (Storm Theatre),  Never In My Lifetime (3isles Productions),Get A Room ( Solo Show), and Greatest Mysteries (The Travel Channel). In Dublin; 100% Pure Irish Dance The Show (Olympia Theatre),  Money Talks (Mill Theatre) and Salome (Tallaght Theatre). KATHERINE O'SULLIVAN

(Duchess of York & Catesby)

After training at the Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin, Katherine moved to Manhattan to pursue her career as an actor.

 

Since coming to New York City, she has appeared in many plays, including Antigone, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Julius Caesar, Under Milk Wood, Footfalls, TheTinker’s Wedding, The Cú Chulain Cycle, The Beauty Queen of Leenane and Finnegan’s Farewell (Off- Broadway).  She has also collaborated on original plays, Rip Cord, False Positive, Supernatural Break-room, Can I Help You? Girl Adventure and Arrow-In.Katherine produced and acted in the US premier of Nora’s Bloke, playing the roles of Molly and Granny James.  She was nominated for best actress in the 2009 1st Irish Festival, playing Alice Kane in Fallen Angel’s production of Cell by Paula Meehan. She also produced and performed The Holy Ground, by Dermot Bolger as part of the 2010 1st Irish Festival. Her film work includes Nettie in the award-winning indie horror featureI’ll Bury You Tomorrow, Leslie in The Blood Shed, and Aunt Idella in Gallery of Fear. You may also see her in Kinsey, The Emperor’s Club and Birdman.

Julia Randall is thrilled to be performing in Richard III with such an amazing cast. Julia’s film credits include New Years Eve and Georgia Rule. Some smaller films include White Rabbit, Becoming A Man, andStevie. Her theatre regional include Chicago Gypsies, And A Child Shall Lead, Bare, and The Children’s Hour. Julia currently studies each summer at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. She also studies dance at Steps and voice with Steven Lutvak.

LAOISA SEXTON

(Dorset, Sir Thomas Vaughn, Sheriff, Herbert)

Recent theater includes the European premiere/Irish tour, of the critically acclaimed play, For Love, which she also wrote. The play toured to the UK City of Culture Festival and six theaters across Ireland. The play received its Off-Broadway premiere at the Irish Repertory Theatre and is being made into a feature film. Other credits include Long Day’s Journey into Night directed by Joe Dowling at The Guthrie Theater, the US premiere of For Love for 1st Irish Theater Festival NYC, Rebecca, Bonnie Bob (NY Theatre Ensemble) the NY and Irish/European premiere of John Paul Murphy’s The Prophet of Monto at The Flea Theater NYC and Dublin premiere, Laoisa won the Ist Irish Theater Festival Best Actress Award for her role as Zoe, and the play was directed by Des Kennedy (Out of Joint Theatre Company) Other NY Theater credits include Oh The Power by David Bar Katz directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman for LABryrinth Theater Company Barn Series. Cell, Gaslight, and the award winning site specific play, Ladies & Gents which was performed in the public toilets at Central Park produced by Semper Fi and Irish Arts Center. Conor Mc Pherson’s Shining City at Studio Theatre, DC directed by Joy Zinoman. Dirtyworks, directed by Kevin Kittle for Stiff Upper Lip Theatre and the Edinburgh Theatre Festival.  Also, for Stiff Upper lip: Some Voices. LORRAINE TAI

(Lord Stanley Earl of Derby, Lord Mayor of London)

Lorraine was born and raised in Hong Kong with a British citizenship.  She speaks fluent Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. She started her acting training when she moved to the United States in 2009. After moving from Los Angeles to New York, she gained her B.A. in Theatre with a concentration in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College, NY.

 

Lorraine has experience in theatre and in front of the camera; her latest role being Linda from Stage Door, by George S. Kaufman. She recently portrayed Hermia in a workshop of A Midsummer Night's Dream with Gorilla Repertory Theatre Company. She has accumulated 15 years of dance training and performing experience, plays the piano, and had vocal training as a singer. Lorraine is a well-trained martial artist, specializing in Wushu (Kung Fu).

SHEILAGH WEYMOUTH

(Queen Elizabeth, Norfolk)

Queen Elizabeth, Norfolk of Richard III marks Sheilagh Weymouth’s third project with Christopher Carter Sanderson and her second with Aedin Molony – my pleasure, CCS and AM.  Returning four years ago from a twenty year hiatus, she’s busy in both theatre and film. She has the transporting experience of working with director Andre Gregory on Wallace Shawn’s ongoing Master Builder theatre project, which was also Jonathan Demme’s Spring 2012 film project, scheduled for theatrical release in 2014.  Her films have been shown at festivals internationally in Cannes, Newport Beach (B-Side Outstanding Achievement Music), Monaco, CENFLO, Beloit International (B-Side Best Soundtrack), Art of Brooklyn (Casual Encounters Best Feature), WorldArts MOCA, Flyway Film Festival (B-Side Breakout Award), Orlando (B-Side nom. Best Film and Best Director), Santa Fe, Timeline NOLA, New Jersey, Twin Cities, Broad, Golden Apricot, Coachella and Cleveland Film Festivals.  Coming up:  Sheila Mitchell Simmons’ webseries The Wall in June and the lead in a Luca Elmi film in August.  Sheilagh’s lived in her beloved Manhattan for over half her life, is a horse whisperer, writes Haiku and short stories, has danced with the Maasai of Mkuru, doctors in holistic primary care, is a graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse where she studied with Sanford Meisner, survived the ’70s relatively intact, agrees that anything worth thinking is worth singing, makes good medicine, has never even been invited to audition for Law and Order, and shares her life with her sweetheart, videographer Cayce Crown.  SheilaghWeymouth.com
